Definition of IoT from book Learning Internet of Things by Peter Waher:

The IoT is what we get when we connect Things, which 
are not operated by humans, to the Internet. 

Forbes has an article suggesting that by 2020, IoT will be over 7 Trillion Industry.IoT will be over 7 Trillion Industry!!
